On top of that, his wife passed away suddenly, which was a tremendous blow for him. He met two witnesses from The Church of Almighty God in a chance encounter. Through reading Almighty God’s words, his thirsty spirit received watering and sustenance and he was able to savor the sweetness of the work of the Holy Spirit. He concluded that Almighty God is the return of the Lord Jesus and accepted Almighty God’s work in the last days. What is salvation? Every believer in the Lord believes that as long as they pray to the Lord with a true heart, confess and repent to Him, their sins will be forgiven, and they will be saved by grace. When the Lord comes back, they will be directly taken into the kingdom of heaven. Is salvation really so simple?

Xu Zhiqian, the hero of this film, has believed in God for many years. He enthusiastically worked for God and abandoned everything to perform his duties. Because of this, the Chinese Communist Party arrested him and cruelly tortured him, and even sentenced him to six years’ imprisonment. After being released, he continued performing duties and had some practical experiences. He was able to solve the practical problems of his brothers and sisters. He didn’t make complaints or become negative and weak when his wife was arrested and imprisoned…. The brothers and sisters all praised and commended him. Xu Zhiqian believed that he already had the reality of truth, and he would surely be granted entrance into the kingdom of heaven. Soon after, however, a trial came upon him suddenly. His wife was tortured to death by the Chinese Communist police. He became extremely grieved and had notions about and misunderstanding of God, so he made complaints, and the thoughts of disobeying and betraying God emerged in his mind…. The Power of God’s Word | Christian Music “The Creator’s Authority Never Changes” God is with authority and power; they are real, not merely words. Revealed in steps, shown in His creation and His control over all things. Seen in how He guides and manages man. Proved by every way, detail and perspective of His rule, by His deeds and grasp of all things. Heaven and earth may change a lot, but God’s authority will stand firm. All things may vanish and be gone, but God’s authority remains. This is the essence of it. Unique to God, the Creator.

God’s authority and power, seen in all things, revealing they are real. With them, God works, rules, and makes commands. No angels nor God’s messengers can wield such power in His stead. Only God can exert this power. No one, no thing can escape from it or change the rules God wields it by. Such power and rules will never change.
